Becca found us through her sister KK, whose wedding we photographed in 2008. We were thrilled to hear that she was engaged to Scott.
We headed out to Scott and Becca’s wedding at the Hotel Bellwether in Bellingham one windy morning, with our 1-month-old baby and doula (babysitter) in tow. She was able to hang out in one of the hotel rooms with the baby so that I could visit and feed him. The Bellwether had it all– scenic views of the mountains and water, a patio perfect for the ceremony, and best of all, a lighthouse that doubled as a honeymoon suite!
Scott and Becca were laidback and lots of fun. We staged a “First Look” before the ceremony, where Scott waited in front of the Lighthouse and Becca came up and tapped him on the shoulder. When he turned around and saw her in her wedding dress for the first time, he was stunned, it was so sweet. I love doing the first look because it is such a relaxed way to start the wedding day and they were able to get the formals out of the way early. The Lighthouse was lots of fun to play with with the wedding party.
Congratulations, Becca and Scott and thanks so much for having us at your gorgeous wedding!
